The Faithful Stand Firm

We are all challenged by life's trials and troubles as believers. Difficult times present themselves, and sometimes hard decisions must be made. But we must stand firm when it is the right thing to do. We must stand firm in our faith when we encounter blatant sin and corruption, we must decide what to do in our faithfulness to Christ. We cannot afford to be stumbled by the schemes of the devil.

We find our answers in the bible, and pray asking God to help us. It is all the wisdom we need for life and godliness. 2 Peter 1:3 Embracing that truth will bring us peace and assures us the confidence we need in the battle and in the storms of life.
When someone gets stumbled and confused, it is by listening to men and their opinions without consulting God's word. Making their words and actions significant over scripture is a foolish way to walk out our faith. Hebrews 12:2 admonishes us to 'keep our eyes fixed on Jesus.

There are times in life that we must do the right thing. You must determine your course of action based on the bible and examine your own conscience. Don't settle for compromise. Stand firm. During times of persecution and trials it is more important then ever to stand firm in obedience to Christ. Remembering Jesus' words in Matt 5:10,11 "Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me."
Don't give in when bullied , or give up because of antagonism by those who oppose the truth, show your alligence and faithfulness to Christ and He has promised to always be faithful and bless you.

Regardless what the enemy of our faith does, we stand firm, standing with courage, not in our own strength, but in the strength of the Lord. Secure in the righteousness of Christ. It is our breastplate of protection. Ephesians 6:14 "Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness. "
